Glass wine cabinet BK – Pohorje elegance
In a modern wooden house on Pohorje, in a village with over 900 years of history, stands the BK wine cabinet – designed as a tribute to tradition, culture and a modern way of living. The house, whose plan was created by the architect herself, is a place of warmth and sophistication, and the wine cabinet is its heart, intended for gourmet pleasures and social moments.
The special feature of the BK cabinet is its contrast: extremely narrow, yet spacious. The architect solved the demanding spatial conditions with a sophisticated play of volume – the back and floor are adorned with a mirror, creating the impression of depth and infinity, and the space opens up like a boundless world of pleasures.
The left side and ceiling are made of transparent crystal glass, which opens the view into the interior like a precious showcase. The metal structure with thoughtfully designed modules is intertwined with light oak wood, giving the cabinet a modern look and the warmth of a homely material. The hinged doors ensure that the right bottle is always within reach – whether for an intimate evening for two or a joyful celebration with friends.
The BK wine cabinet is not just a place to store wine, but an architectural work of art that combines refined aesthetics and practicality. It is an invitation to socialize, taste and celebrate - in a space where the tradition of Pohorje and the modern elegance of living meet.
