SW Wine Cellar
– among arches and reflections of elegance
In the hilly wine-growing region of Lipnica in Austria, where the hills and vineyards tell centuries-old stories, stands a contemporary house where tradition and modernity find a common language. Its heart is hidden under a large swimming pool – in a social space for pleasure, where the SW wine cellar reigns supreme.
The cellar is fully integrated into the walls and arches of the house and clad in Blanc Oak wood paneling. The lighter oak with gentle lighting creates a feeling of softness and a subtle homage to the white wines that grow in the immediate vicinity of Lipnica. The arched wall, clad in mirror, expands the space and adds lightness to it – as if you were entering a world without borders.
In the same ambience, there is a cigar room – an intimate Chesterfield-style corner where cognac, spirits and fine cigars create perfect harmony. It is a place for luxurious conversations, warm smoke and a slow tasting of life.
The central part of the space combines old and new: the polished oak, exquisitely finished by the Breitenthaler carpentry company, creates a bridge between tradition and modern design. Here is a space that reflects the character of the owner - in the foreground are hunting trophies, a bear, a chamois and other symbols of strength, nature and personal history.
The SW Wine Cellar is not just a wine cellar, but a holistic experiential architecture. It is a space where wine, cigars, stories and trophies intertwine – a space that combines tradition and modernity into a single elegance.
